An Amazing Discovery: Google Notepad
Ok, ok...not really that amazing to anyone already using this tool. One of the clients I work with pointed out this excellent tool, and I must say, I was impressed. If you've not seen it, check it out at Google . Basically, it allows you to save things you find on the web in notes, but you can save several different notepads. For example, one for code, one for hockey, or whatever. The beauty of this also comes when you save the text, and search on it. You can look specific code snippets or anything ......

Vista: installed at last
Well, I took the plunge recently. I was able to obtain a copy of Vista Ultimate, and I upgraded my primary machine to Vista. Well, ok, I am sort of getting ahead of myself. I actually upgraded to 3 GB of RAM, and installed a 512 MB video card, then I upgraded to Vista. The install was actually incredibly painless. I wiped everything, and loaded it up with few snags. Biggest problem I had was finding a Vista compatible driver for my onboard sound card. Yeah, I know...onboard lame. Never ......

Grindhouse: A Hit and, well, a miss
I've been a serious Tarantino fan since Reservoir Dogs days. I've always loved the lurid dialogue and his knack for combining genres (ala Kill Bill). Some of the greatest scripting ever was in Pulp Fiction. I've liked Robert Rodriguez since El Marachi, and its sequel Desperado. Can't really say what I've liked about his work, only that it always had an edgy, sexy feel that I liked. And, of course, Desperado was the first movie I remember seeing Salma Hayek in, and let me tell you, I could watch her ......
