If you haven’t already done so, replace your laptop’s hard drive with an SSD. Boot speed alone is 5x as fast. I dropped in size because of price, but cloud storage, etc. more that compensates. I picked up a PNY 240GB, 6Gb/s drive from a Black Friday sale. So, now’s the time. Start shopping.
